Separation and ???% (Divine Tree) Arc

A cult forms around the Divine Tree and the entity Psycho Helmet, pushing Mob's suppressed emotions to a breaking point in the series' finale.

The Separation Arc, also called the ???% or Divine Tree Arc, brings Mob Psycho 100 to its powerful conclusion by turning the spotlight inward on Mob himself. In the aftermath of the battle with Toichiro Suzuki, the enormous broccoli plant known as the Divine Tree continues to grow in Seasoning City, becoming an object of worship for a rapidly spreading cult devoted to an entity called Psycho Helmet. As the cult's influence threatens the city, Mob struggles with mounting personal pressures, including his feelings for his longtime crush Tsubomi and his lifelong habit of suppressing his own emotions to protect those around him. The arc finally confronts the question the entire series has built toward, what happens when the kind, restrained Mob can no longer hold back everything he has buried. His suppressed self, the ???% state, erupts, forcing Mob, Reigen and his friends to help him reconcile with his true feelings. The finale delivers an emotionally satisfying resolution about self-acceptance, growth and the importance of honest human connection over raw power.
