The Claw 7th Division Arc is the explosive climax of the series' first major saga, bringing together its core cast for a large-scale confrontation. Following Ritsu's kidnapping, Mob teams with Reigen, Teruki Hanazawa, Dimple and other young espers to infiltrate the 7th Division of Claw, the branch responsible for collecting gifted children. Inside, they face the division's powerful elite members, the Scars, in a series of escalating battles that push each character to their limits. Mob's reluctance to harm others is tested repeatedly as enemies underestimate his enormous strength. The arc culminates in one of the franchise's most beloved moments, when Reigen, a fraudulent psychic with no real powers, is accidentally imbued with Mob's overflowing energy and single-handedly dismantles the entire division. Beyond the spectacle, the story reinforces its emotional themes, showing that empathy and mentorship matter more than power. The defeat of the 7th Division also escalates the conflict with Claw's wider organization, planting seeds for the much larger threat that follows.
