Naraku's Origins

The group uncovers information about Naraku, the mysterious force orchestrating many of their conflicts.

Through various encounters, the group learns that Naraku, a shape-shifting demon of mysterious origin, has been manipulating events to gather Shikon jewel shards. Miroku and Sango join InuYasha's group, having both been negatively affected by Naraku's schemes. Miroku carries a family curse related to Naraku, while Sango's village was destroyed through his machinations. The group discovers that Naraku employs numerous incarnations and subordinates to further his goals, creating a multi-layered conspiracy that extends far beyond simple demon hunting.
