Kenshin arrives in Tokyo and establishes a peaceful life as a wanderer while defending Kaoru's dojo and meeting the foundational members of his circle.

The Tokyo Arc serves as the introductory arc establishing Kenshin's character and the main ensemble. Kenshin arrives in Tokyo seeking redemption and a peaceful life after years as an assassin during the revolutionary period. He meets Kaoru Kamiya, a young martial arts instructor, and gradually becomes involved in her community. The arc introduces major supporting characters including Sanosuke, Yahiko, and Megumi, establishing the emotional foundations of the series.
